We had the pleasure of screening Ron Howard’s newest documentary, AVEDON, on Thursday, October 8th at the Avon Cinema in Providence. AVEDON gave our audience a behind-the-lens look into the life and vision of iconic photographer Richard Avedon. After the film, RISD Senior Photography Critic Thaddeus Russell moderated an insightful conversation with Director of Photography Robert Chappell about the challenge of shooting a documentary about one of the world’s most renowned photographers.
