newportFILM 2024 Summer Benefit, raises over $300,000 supporting year-round documentary programming!
Hundreds gathered at newportFILM’s annual Summer Benefit celebration on Saturday July 6th at IYRS’s Restoration Hall in Newport, RI. The Presenting Sponsor was the Stratus Foundation/FlyAdvanced. Raising over $300,000, the Summer Benefit is newportFILM’s biggest fundraiser of the year, supporting Outdoors screenings, year-round programming and the educational initiatives Edu, Documentary Unbound and the Cinematography Lab.
newportFILM is supported year-round by sponsors Park South NYC and Kirby Construction. newportFILM’s 2024 Outdoors series is presented by Lila Delman Compass and supported by A1 Roofing and Construction and BankNewport.
The evening’s wines were selected by Newport Wine Cellar & Gourmet and spirits were offered by Pantalones Tequila, Dillon’s Small Batch Distillers, Bulleit Bourbon, Absolut, Captain Morgan, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Passed canapés by McGrath’s Clambake & Catering were enjoyed by the guests while mingling in support of newportFILM’s mission to build community and propel change through documentary film.
