What it means to be an Olympian is different for every competitor. Touch the Wall is the story of high school swimmer Missy Franklin’s path to becoming the breakout star of the 2012 London Games, while navigating huge expectations along the way. Concurrently we witness two-time Olympian Kara Lynn Joyce’s quest to qualify for her third Olympics – during the time she trains with Franklin’s coach she becomes one of the young rising star’s greatest motivators. The film is an inspirational tale of two Olympians at very different places in the lifetime of their careers.
