An art world upstart, provocative and elusive artist Maurizio Cattelan made his career on playful and subversive works that send up the artistic establishment until a retrospective at the Guggenheim in 2011 finally solidified his place in the contemporary art canon. Axelrod’s equally playful profile leaves no stone unturned in trying to figure out: who is Maurizio Cattelan?

VENUE UPDATE: Due to prolonged inclement weather today, this event has been moved inside to the rain venue at the CASINO THEATRE, 9 FREEBODY STREET, NEWPORT. Please note that seats are first come, first served. Doors will open at 6:00PM.

Parking: Casino Theatre does not have a parking lot. There is, however, non-residential street parking on Freebody & King Streets, metered parking on Memorial &/or a paid parking in the Bellevue Gardens lot.

7:30pm: Film, followed by conversation with Dodie Kazanjian (Vogue Contributing Editor) & Calvin Tomkins (Author & Art Critic for The New Yorker)
